{WEF logo} {WEF1}    {WEF2}   {WEF3}   {WEF4}   {WEF5}      ...Ready For The Challenge!  {WEF IRS}   WEF Mission The Wilson Education Foundation engages in strategic philanthropy to purposefully connect parents, alumni, and businesses to invest in the future of the greater Wilson community.   Fundraising Goals Dozens of school-related groups raise funds for specific purposes throughout the year.  Some raise fundsfor scholarships, others for trips or equipment.  The following goals are the reasons for WEF fundraising.  Diminish or eliminate barriers that prevent some students from sharing special experiences (field trips/scholarships) enjoyed by other students. Diminish or eliminate barriers that prevent teachers from  accomplishing certain goals for improved student achievement.  (e.g., tutoring programs, teacher venture grants, coaching programs, distance learning programs. Assist in creating venues that can be utilized by both the school and the community at large.
